KFC Has a New Version of a Menu Item We Haven't Seen in 5 Years
KFC is introducing a new menu item: the Smash'd Potato Bowl, featuring potatoes in a way you haven't seen in five years.
The Smash'd Potato Bowl is the first new version of KFC's Famous Bowls since 2019 and follows successful test results.
The bowl includes KFC's signature mashed potatoes topped with crispy Secret Recipe Fries, warm cheese sauce, bacon crumbles, and a three-cheese blend.
This new bowl will cost $3.49, with an option to add KFC’s chicken nuggets for an additional $2.
KFC’s Famous Bowls were first introduced in 2006 and have been a top seller, with over 80 million sold initially.
The Smash'd Potato Bowl was tested in Pittsburgh in Fall 2023 and will be available nationwide at participating locations starting January 29.
The new bowl aims to replicate the success of its predecessors and promises to be a fan favorite.
Potatoes, known for their versatility, are featured prominently, aligning with KFC's track record of successful bowl innovations.
