A Popular Mini Burger Chain Is Opening New Locations In 21 States

Whether you like your burgers thick or crispy, miniature versions are gaining popularity. Soon, bright orange locations will offer this option.

Smalls Sliders, known for its cooked-to-order cheeseburger sliders, is expanding its compact, brightly-colored "cans" across 21 states.

The initial phase of development sold out in six states: Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, and Mississippi, with 290 locations in progress.

Smalls Sliders' strategy involves placing pre-made 750-square-foot modular buildings on-site, speeding up openings and enabling rapid expansion.

Expansion opportunities are announced in Idaho, Indiana, and Montana. The chain currently has 14 locations and plans 26 more openings.

First launched in Baton Rouge, La., in 2019, Smalls Sliders offers cheeseburger sliders, grilled cheese, waffle fries, and milkshakes.

Chief Development Officer Don Crocker praised the brand's growth, selling out in six states, and plans to open 40 locations this year.

Smalls Sliders will open company-owned cans in Georgia this fall, aiming to enhance brand presence and dominate the QSR industry.
